Kids football kit sizes 16–28: how to choose

Choose a kids kit by comparing flat chest width and shirt length with a kit that fits. Sizes 16–28 are codes, not ages; the age ranges in the chart are only a starting point.

Measure a kit that fits

Lay the shirt flat without stretching it. Measure across the chest from underarm to underarm, and measure the shirt length from shoulder to hem. Record both in centimetres. If buying a set, check the shorts too.

Read sizes 16–28 correctly

The reference chart runs from size 16 at 35 cm chest width and 44 cm length to size 28 at 48 cm width and 63 cm length. Chest here is flat width, not circumference. Children of the same age can need different sizes.

Example: between sizes 22 and 24

If a well-fitting shirt is 42 cm wide and 55 cm long, reference size 22 is 41 × 53 cm and size 24 is 43 × 56 cm. Size 24 is closer on both measurements. This is a comparison example, not a guarantee of fit; confirm the measurements of the selected product and the room you prefer.

Before adding a custom name

Check the sizes listed on the product page, confirm the kit contents and ask for actual measurements if uncertain. Confirm spelling, number, placement and any extra cost before personalization.
